Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Engineering Sciences Award


Overview:

Since 2004, this award has been granted to second year Master Course students who have achieved the most excellent results. One student from each Department is selected and awarded at the completion ceremony.

Selection method:
Decision is made by comprehensively evaluating the results in the graduate school Master course, the research achievements, the attitude toward research, and the assessment in the Masterfs Thesis Presentation.

Scholarships for Japanese students

Scholarships by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO)
Master Course: 88,000 Yen per month (1st class)
Doctor Course: 122,000 Yen per month (1st class)

There are many other private scholarships available.

Scholarships for international students

The following are the scholarships awarded in recent years.
Saneyoshi Scholarship: 500,000 Yen per year
Rotary Yoneyama Memorial Scholarship: 140,000 Yen per month
JASSO Honors Scholarships: 70,000 Yen per month



There is also a bursary system unique to the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Engineering Sciences, which includes the system/mechanism of financially supporting students. The following bursaries are available to offer support to privately-financed international students as a part of international exchange.
