A circular economy approach and community-based plastic waste cleanup in rural areas can reduce plastic problems. This study uses break-even point (BEP) analysis to determine the break-even value in the production of fuel from plastic waste at the “Bank Sampah Banjarnegara” (BSB) and the environmental impact using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). BSB relies exclusively on social activities driven by environmental management; therefore, the profits cannot be calculated. The findings that the annual cost Rp. 248,265,025 rupiah. Although the most significant contribution to environmental impact is terrestrial acidification, followed by ocean eutrophication, stratospheric ozone depletion, water consumption, and ionizing radiation. Using BEP analysis and LCA we could improve renewable energy production and minimize its impact on the environment. BSB's gen 5 pyrolysis innovation reduces environmental impact by addressing pyrolysis process challenges such as high heat and pressure, waste, and water use.
