[ABSTRACT ]

This study investigates the state of robotic grippers at the moment and methods that can be used to control grippers, and potential future research areas. Mainly, this research investigates an automated robotic arm directed by a microprocessor and equipped with diverse end-effectors, including vacuum, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric grippers. The study emphasizes the embedded instructions and sensor technologies that govern gripper functions, such as object detection and force application, to ensure precision and prevent damage. By evaluating performance metrics like accuracy, speed, and capacity, the research assesses the effectiveness of these mechanisms. Addressing gaps in existing literature, this paper aims to enhance the understanding of gripper technology and its potential applications in future robotic systems.
