    Degree awarded: Master of Engineering/ Master of Science/ Master of  Science and Engineering

    Duration: 2 years

    Enrollment: October 1st.

    Course taught in English for international students.

    A student has to earn at least 30 credits among designated modules as well

    as complete a master thesis approved by faculty committee.

    Applicants MUST pay an admission fee of 30,000 JPY.
    Entrance exam From Jun-9 to Jun 17, 2020

    Registration Beginning of September, 2020
    Applicants MUST pay an enrollment fee of 282,000 JPY.
    Students may be allowed to postpone the payment of enrollment fee by
    submitting a petition of extension.

    Required documents

    Application form, graduation certificate or statement that confirms expected graduation, academic record, letter of recommendation, score certificate of general English qualifying examination (TOEIC, TOEFL or Cambridge ESOL examination (FCE, CAE or CPE) )

     

    Screening

    The screening will be carried out on the basis of writing tests and an interview held in IGSES, Fukuoka, Japan as well as the documents submitted (See the application guidelines).

     

  • ✔ Entry Requirements

    Applicant must meet one of the following criteria, however those who has Japanese nationality or who is a permanent resident of Japan are not eligible to apply.

    (1) Those who have completed 16 years of formal education in countries other than Japan or who expect to complete 16 years of formal education by September 30, 2020.

    (2) Those who have received or are expected to receive a degree equivalent to a bachelor’s degree by September 30, 2020 by completing the minimum duration of studies be at least three years at the university or institution in foreign countries. (limited to those which have been evaluated the progress of education and research by the organizations certified by the government of said country or the relevant organizations or those which have been designated separately by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.)

    (3) Those who have graduated or are expected to graduate by September 30, 2018 from a university (limited to the program conducted only in English) prescribed in Article 83 of the School Education Act.

    (4) Those who have completed 15 years of formal education in countries other than Japan, and are judged to have received all the necessary credits with an excellent record.

    (5) Those who are judged to have an academic ability equal to or surpassing that of students who have graduated from a university, by individual screening according to the requirements for admission, and who will be 22 years old before or on September 30, 2020.

    Applicants who intend to apply in accordance with qualifications (3) or (4) before application, must submit to an individual evaluation of their scientific ability in relation to the requirements for admission.
