8月16-29日に第13回目となる2024年度サマースクールが、九州大学がホスト校として筑紫 キャンパスにて対面で開催されました。
キャンパスアジアに参画する、九州大学、釜山大学校、上海交通大学、マレーシア工科大 学より合計92名の学生が参加しました。
プログラムの内容は、４大学の教員32人によるレクチャー、総理工8研究室にご協力いた だき、修士1年生向けのラボ演習とグループプレゼン、修士2年生による研究発表（Energy and Environmental Science and Technology(EEST)コースDD生の中間発表、校外学習（八 丁原発電所、阿蘇山、日本製鉄）等、全て英語で実施され有意義な時を過ごしました。
筑紫キャンパスの多くの先生方にも多大なご協力を頂いたお陰で、成功裏に終了すること ができました。
最終日の表彰式では、修士1年の優秀グループプレゼンが発表され、KUの学生6名を含む3 グループが受賞し、賞状が授与されました。
サマースクールに参加した学生の中の多くは、10月より相互の大学でダブルディグリー留 学を予定しています。
KUの学生たちも、帰国後も親交を深めた仲間と引き続き連絡を取り合っています。 この限られた時間で寝食を共にし、同じ目標で仲間たちと研鑽したことは何にも変えられ ない経験となったはずです。そして、今後もキャンパスアジアの発展に協力してくれるこ とが期待されます。

From August 16 to 29, the 13th Summer School 2024 was held at Chikushi Campus, hosted by Kyushu University. A total of 92 students participated from Kyushu University, Pusan National University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, all of whom are part of CAMPUS Asia.
The program included lectures from 32 professors from the four universities, lab exercises, and group presentations for M1 students in cooperation with eight labs, research presentations by M2 students (interim presentations from the EEST course), and off- campus activities (visits to the Hatchobaru Power Station, Mt. Aso, and Nippon Steel), all conducted in English, making for a meaningful experience. The successful conclusion of the program was made possible with the tremendous support of many faculty members at Chikushi Campus.
During the awards ceremony on the final day, the best group presentations from M1 students were announced, with three groups, including six KU students, receiving certificates of achievement.
Many students who participated in the Summer School are scheduled to study abroad mutually among the program partner universities starting in October.
KU students continue to stay in touch with their friends from the program after returning home. The experience during this limited time is invaluable. It is hoped that they will continue to contribute to the development of CAMPUS Asia in the future.
