From March 21 to 23, 2025, the Reunion Symposium and the EEST Course Completion Ceremony were held both online and on-site in Hakata, Fukuoka.

The event brought together graduates and current students from the four participating universities—Pusan National University (PNU), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and Kyushu University (KU)—as well as faculty members. Through both in-person and virtual formats, participants engaged in lively and meaningful exchanges. Many were delighted to reunite with old friends, fellow students from the DD program, and their academic mentors, creating a warm and enriching atmosphere.

During the EEST Course Completion Ceremony, five students—scheduled to graduate in FY2024, including both DD and Non-DD participants—received their certificates of completion from Prof. Miyazaki, the program director. The ceremony was held in a warm and friendly setting, celebrating the achievements and hard work of the students.

From the latter half of the ceremony through to March 23, the professors representing the four universities gave research presentations. These sessions provided valuable insights and were highly appreciated by the attendees.

On the final day, students who participated in the DD exchange program—both outbound and inbound—joined the event. Together with faculty members from PNU, SJTU, UTM, and KU, they engaged in active discussions about the outcomes and learning experiences gained through their time abroad. The professors listened attentively, and the event concluded on a high note.
