Kato-kun, One of the DD exchange students, has enrolled in China-UK Low Carbon College, a partner institution of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, as the first full-time KU-LCC DD student from IGSES.
The college is about a 40-minute drive on the highway from the Minhang Campus, but as its name states, it has lovely, quaint British-style buildings.
Established in cooperation with the University of Edinburgh and University College London, and with support from the city of Shanghai, it conducts advanced research and education in the field of low carbon emissions.
The dormitory is a little far away, but a university shuttle bus runs between the campus and the dorm every day.
