APC & Payment Procedures

No APC for Ordinary Articles: EVERGREEN Journal is committed to promoting accessible and open academic publishing. As part of this commitment, we do not charge an Article
Processing Charge (APC) for ordinary articles submitted to the journal. This policy applies to all standard submissions, ensuring that high-quality research can be published without financial barriers.

APC for Special Issues: However, an APC of USD 400 per article, including tax, is applicable for papers published as part of special issues. These publications are typically associated with conferences, symposiums, or special topics that have been approved by our management committee.

Payment Process

  • The APC for special issues is processed through the Kyushu University Donation Entry platform. Despite the platform’s label, the payment will be correctly allocated to EVERGREEN Journal.
  • The organisers of the special issues should select "Fund of EVERGREEN - Kyushu University Faculty of Engineering Sciences" under the “Type of donation” section to ensure the payment is directed to the correct fund.
  • The platform is available in both Japanese and English.
