HOME >> Research >> Four primary field

The structure of modern industry involves the creation of a marketable product by following several key stages namely, resource exploration, mining, materials purification, materials development, product design, factory production and marketing. Each of these crucial stages is supported by the four primary research fields, which are; resource engineering, materials science, system engineering and environmental engineering.
The GA program aims to cover all of these key fields. Students are free to choose a major area of study from these four subjects as the primary topic of their doctoral research. In addition, students will learn the remaining three areas through course work in order to acquire a holistic perspective of the complex stratum of current industry.
