One of the best ways to get a feel for IGSES is to visit the campus and experience it. We hold visiting day once a year to offer not only prospective students but also the public a chance to experience the atmosphere of our campus and see for themselves the quality of our education and research underpinned by numerous state-of-the-art facilities. Kyushu University’s Chikushi Campus is pleased to announce its “Open Campus” event, which will open its laboratories and cutting-edge research facilities to the general public and showcase the results of its research. With over 60 unique events planned for children and adults alike, visitors can experience the excitement of science through hands-on activities, an atmospheric environment and climate change-themed science cafe with world-renowned faculty members and events where they can experience plasma.
Furthermore, in collaboration with Onojo City and Kasuga city, with which Kyushu University has concluded comprehensive cooperation agreements, there will be food and beverage stalls, workshops, and a dance performance by PR Characters from both cities. Collaborative science experiments will also be conducted with Chikushi Campus faculty members.
We invite you to visit Chikushi Campus and witness the results of the research and educational activities that the campus is proud of, as well as events with a local flavor organized by Onojo City and Kasuga City. Don’t miss this opportunity to discover the wonders of science and the local culture!
